Éowyn is a fictional character from The Lord of the Rings, by a certain author whose name escapes me at the moment. She is proud, noble, stubborn and fierce. Then she settled for less and became a princess with a lovely garden. She married Faramir, her silver medal, and lived out her days in peace.
